  • I just wrote this long entry and now I have to start over, but oh well.

So every day is a day of splendor. A day that the Lord has created for us to enjoy all of our blessings and to give them back in return. To do that,  we have to become completely selfless. God gave us life in order to give life to others. True life that is. True life meaning, sharing the truth about Christ's grace and love for His children. The only way we can share His love is if we are in the truth and have our feet set upon the rock and the Word set in our hearts. It's so hard sometimes to think we have to give up everything in order to be a sold out Christian, but it shouldn't be that complicated. All God is asking of us is to give back to Him what He has given to us, and that is EVERYTHING. I think that the hardest things to let go of are those that are holding us back the most. Usually they are feelings of fear, rejection, loneliness, depression, disappointment, and confusion. All the things that are not of the Lord. We have to give all that to Him. He wants every little worry we have. It doesn't matter whether or not anyone else knows the struggle as long as we give it to Him and ask Him to help us with it. God loves you and He wants you to live today for Him more than anything else in this world. Put your trust in Him, and He'll give you the desires of your heart. God is our helper in times of need. Don't be afraid to commit and seek Truth, it will only benefit the kingdom of heaven.

  • okay, is my background gray or does it have a pretty pink flower on it??

I got a stinkin treble hook stuck in my wrist today!! It was horrible. My dad and i were just off to a wonderful start to a beautiful day. We took my dog Gracie along with us because we thought she would enjoy it. well, it got bad after that. We arrived at our destination (Shawnee Mission Park) and went down in our little secret cove. lol we didn't wanna get caught. anyways... so gracie's just havin a good ol' time and we're getting our poles ready, then all the sudden, out of no where, Gracie yelps, flings around and the next thing i know i have a fish hook stuck in my wrist about an inch away from an artery. WHat happened was she was just checkin out all the stuff in the tackle box and i guess  the fuzzy ball intrigued her so she decided to get closer; then she thought it bit her, so she freaked out and it somehow was launched under my skin. OUCH! It was definately not something I had planned on for the day. dad and i went to the hospital and the lady doc. couldn't even cut it! she almost ripped all of my skin off! My dad ended up cutting it, cuz this lady just wasn't strong enough. goodness. dad and i went back to our spot, without Gracie, and successfully caught a few fish and returned home safely. =) what a fun day. **** Everyone have an amazing week!!!

  • I have school tomorrow. yes. finally. just kidding. Four day weekends are never painful. , but always very delightful. This weekend I hung out with some pretty neat people. I'm glad God has placed people in my life recently that i can share things with and be open about stuff, even if we may not have all the same beliefs. I have a lot of good friends. Can't wait for the majority of them all to come home. I love just talking to my friends, even if it has to be on the phone. (THAT'S ONLY IF THERE'S NO OTHER WAY). everyone is everywhere. everything and everyone has changed. some a lot/ some a little. I've made a lot of changes in my life recently. Change is definately not the easiest thing in the world for me, but it's helped me a lot. I'm starting to see the needs of other people a lot more clearly now, and I want to be a more useful servant for those people because I know that's what my Father is asking of me. I'm excited for a lot of things to come. God is always in control. If you have anything that's weighing heavy on your heart go to Him first. Don't wait. I love you all.

About Me

  • I think life is exciting because its always full of suprises. You never know what God is going to bring you the next day or what people are going to run across your path. Life is a journey, and we should never take it for granted. In Christ, we can do all things that strengthens us. God is always there, he never leaves us or forsakes us, and no matter how many times we let him down and let ourselves fall, he is always faithful to pick us back up again. Now that's love!! God is good all the time!~ Colossians 3:23-24
